    Careers information

    We have an excellent careers information and guidance programme at NE6. As part of this, all students have access to Unifrog which is a fantastic resource which acts as a "one-stop-shop" for all things careers related, you can use it to help decide what career might interest you, to create a CV or personal statement and to research and apply to universities and apprenticeships.

    We are also one of the only schools in Northumberland to be part of the Northern Hub of The Elephant Group. The Elephant Group is a partnership of schools and universities across the country working to make sure that the top third of students get into the top third of universities, regardless of their background. They offer a range of summer placements and support programmes which allow students insight into what it is like to be a university student. 

    On top of that, we have a regular programme of speakers and events supporting students in deciding their next steps after sixth form. All students also have regular 1:1 appointments with a member of the sixth form team to further advise and support them.
