Some of our Year 12 students represented Ashington Academy in the Ethics Cup at Durham University this week.
The competition is designed to promote supportive debate through the examination of complex ethical issues. Competing against other schools from across the North East, our team showed fantastic skills of enquiry and reasoning and despite narrowly missing out on the finals, they achieved fantastic scores and were an absolute credit to our school. Well done everyone!
