Lights..camera..ACTION!
This week, three of our Year 12 performing arts students, Erin, Hollie and Alex, headed to Ocean Beach Pleasure Park in South Shields to be extras in ITV's Vera.
The budding stars thoroughly enjoyed experiencing how the episode was created and said that it was completely different to how they had imagined! Throughout the day, the trio shot three scenes which took hours as each scene needed to be filmed at different angles.
They loved meeting the friendly crew and were very tired by the end of the 10-hour day. The experience of being on an actual set has made them more determined than ever to work in the industry in the future...🤩 We are looking forward to watching the episode next spring! (Series 11, Episode 4)
