At the beginning of the month, we opened our doors to prospective students and their families to show what we have to offer here at NE6.
Our special visitors heard from Headteacher, Mrs Weston, Assistant Headteacher for Sixth Form, Miss Smith, and two student representatives Rosie and Emma.
At our Ashington Academy site, guests got a sneak peek of our new sixth form bistro and enjoyed some delicious canapés and soft drinks before getting the opportunity to speak with staff and student representatives about the 28 subjects that we have on offer.
Thank you to all of our staff and students who stayed back to share information and their thoughts on our courses.
Enrolment forms will be handed out to Year 11 students this week, with the deadline for initial applications the 15th December 2021. Following the applications, interviews will take place ready for offers around Easter. We look forward to welcoming our new cohort!
